This document provides recommendations for the enhancement of the SNAP LEAP-IBC tool methodology that supports the estimation of co-benefits associated with the reduction of black carbon, by including information that has been validated by the measurement work in Mexico and Colombia. This task seeks to integrate information on new brick kiln models that are representative of different Latin American countries, to determine the emissions from each kiln type and the levels of exposure of workers to black carbon. This information will be used as an energy planning tool by public and policy decision makers.
