Skilling the Workforce for Brick Sector Transformation in India

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is supporting a skill development programme for zig-zag kiln workers in India. With Greentech Knowledge Solutions, we supported the preparation of a strategy document on skilling the workforce for brick sector transformation in India. The strategy paper covers a review of the national skill development programme; identification of the potential skill council(s) to undertake training on cleaner brick production; outline of the training course to be offered under the skill development mission; and identification of geographical region and institutions that can undertake brick industry related skill development programme in India.
