In this workshop different brick sector stakeholders participated and expressed their views and remarks during the workshop. Participants included representatives from all Pakistan brick owner association, NEECA, EPA Pakistan, SAARC Energy Center, UNDP, building engineers, architectural engineer, professors and some of the development partners, actively contributing their views on capacity development of the sector and way forward for clean brick making process. The objectives of the workshop were to: (i) get information and overview of the brick sector in Pakistan, (ii) to discuss sustainable capacity building within the brick sector in Pakistan for the establishment of a cleaner brick production training, (iii) to discuss the modifications required to the existing brick kilns into more energy efficient kilns, and clean brick production policy harmonization. This report provides the proceedings of the workshop.
