The goal of this toolkit is to provide hands-on examples of how communication on air quality, the health links and (policy and behavioural) changes can take place. It describes examples of tools to inform and engage residents and citizens, how to communicate during pollution episodes and how to use air quality indices. In addition, it gives examples of messages on air pollution, and health, partly in connection with behaviour and changing habits. Furthermore, it describes examples for evaluation communication activities.
