2025 Climate and Clean Air Coalition Ministerial: Accelerating Action on Super Pollutants for a Resilient Planet

The Coalition’s annual Climate & Clean Air Ministerial Meeting provides strategic guidance and leadership for the Coalition. Government ministers from partner countries and heads of partner organisations participate in the meeting. 

The 2025 edition of the CCAC Ministerial will take place as an official event of the UNEA-7 agenda on 9 December. Anchored in the outcomes of the 2024 Ministerial and aligned with the 2025 UNEA-7 theme of "Advancing sustainable solutions for a resilient planet," the event will focus on partnerships to scale action to reduce super pollutants, for stronger human, economic and planetary resilience.

Participants will have the opportunity to discuss preliminary findings of the new assessment on the economic case to leverage CCAC’s upcoming scientific assessment to drive implementation, and to take stock of progress on UNEA Resolution 6/10, spotlight achievements under the Clean Air Flagship such as the Africa Clean Air Programme and the Air Quality Management Exchange Platform, financing for sector initiatives such as eCooking.
