Resources for Filling Gaps in National Data

This inaugural workshop of the 2nd M-RAP workshop series will focus on the issue of filling national data gaps.

The workshop will present data available from international data sources which can help countries move forward rapidly on identification of relevant methane mitigation pathways while they further develop their national data capacity.

The session will present data available from CCAC regional assessment, including the Africa assessment that will be presented at AMCEN, as well as from other international data sources such as IIASA.

The session will also speak to the urgency of moving toward implementation, and hence rapidly finalizing national methane roadmaps, to meet the GMP objective and the 1.5°C target.
