A gentle sky

Against the backdrop of the Africa Climate Summit and Africa Climate Week, Nairobi will host an event to celebrate the fourth annual International Clean Air Day for blue skies, with H.E. Governor Sakaja Arthur Johnson,and other high-level speakers on September 7th, 2023. This year’s theme is Together for Clean Air, focusing on the need for strong partnerships, increased investment and shared responsibility to overcome air pollution. To inspire Nairobi residents and visitors to the city and highlight the theme of working together to end road pollution and protect human health, Governor Sakaja will unveil a new mural installation spotlighting the importance of clean transportation and better air quality for children’s health.
