Under her leadership, the Coalition has grown from a small collective of countries of countries and organisations to an expansive, internationally recognized alliance of over 150 official partners and 400 non-state actors. Helena led the Coalition to multiple major achievements and leaves the CCAC in a strong position to carry out its 2030 ambitions. Martina Otto will step in as Acting Head of the Secretariat until Helena's successor is appointed. Residents of Accra urged to help reduce air pollution Accra, Ghana, a participant in the Climate and Clean Air Coalition’s Urban Health Initiative project since 2017, is fighting air pollution with vehicle laws and a new public campaign to stop the burning of waste. Announcements Call for expert reviewers The Climate and Clean Air Coalition, with Beijing University of Technology and Energy Research Institute of China, are seeking nominations for expert technical reviewers for the First Order Draft (FOD) of an Integrated Assessment for China’s Paris and Air Quality Targets report (working title). The review period will be open from 15 May – 15 July. Please direct all nominees to register using the online form. CCAC Working Group meeting, 25-27 May The Climate and Clean Air Coalition will hold a virtual Working Group meeting from 25-27 May, 14:00-17:30 CEST. Each day of the meeting will be dedicated to a specific topic: methane, Coalition matters, and national action. This event is open to CCAC partners only.
