These actions are also well within reach, with simple and affordable interventions like the widespread use of clean cookstoves, eliminating methane leaks from oil and gas production, or banning open agricultural burning. The Coalition, through our work with countries and non-state partners to include measures to reduce short-lived climate pollutants in national planning and economic sectors, is helping create the conditions for a sustainable economic recovery. Our growing collection of COVID-19 resources for policymakers and practitioners provides guidance that can help countries address SLCPs in their recovery plans.
