You can find an overview of our activities and updates on our website.At COP 23 the Coalition aims to increase ambition for fast action and showcase a near term pathway to keep global temperature increases well below 2˚Celsius. A special side event on the pathway will be held on November 10th.The Coalition is also contributing to the Marrakech Partnership Global Climate Action agenda, as co-organizers for the Industry and Agriculture days, and as a partner speaker on Green Freight during Transport day. And, we are co-organizing two high-level roundtables on Sustainable Development Goals 2 and 11 – Zero Hunger and Sustainable Cities and Communities.As part of Industry day, on November 12, the first Climate and Clean Air Awards will be presented to winners whose leadership, activities and innovative solutions have both inspired action and reduced short-lived climate pollutants. As one jury member put it: “The winners represent what climate action looks like”.The Coalition’s High Level Assembly meets on the 14th of November and will focus on how to scale up action to reduce short-lived climate pollutants, celebrate ratifications to the Kigali Amendment, and discuss new actions to reduce emissions from municipal solid waste and agriculture sectors.I encourage you to attend our Pathways and Awards events, and the other side events we’re involved in. Inaugural Climate and Clean Air Awards shortlist 14 initiatives have been shortlisted by the Coalition’s Steering Committee for consideration by a distinguished jury. Members of the public can vote for the People's Choice award until 5 November. Oil and Gas Methane Partnership releases 2nd Annual Report The Coalition’s Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (OGMP) released its second set of annual reports detailing the mitigation status of partner companies’ participating operations. Global Dialogue looks at financing and technology solutions for resilient cities Cities from the Coalition's Waste Initiative presented waste management strategies at the Global Dialogue on Technology for Resilient Cities in Osaka, Japan.
