Professor Ramanathan presented his work on “bending the curve” on climate change using the most efficient ways to minimize global temperature increase due to emissions of greenhouse agents. This effort includes quickly mitigating short-lived climate pollutants, such as methane and black carbon, alongside carbon dioxide to significantly reduce global warming and avoid climate disruptions as well as damage to public health and ecosystems.
