This report delves into a detailed technical analysis of SLCP emissions, focusing on critical sectors such as transportation, energy, agriculture, livestock, and waste management. It also conducts a rigorous evaluation of current public policies, presenting long-term emission modelling scenarios. 

These elements are fundamental for understanding the current landscape and planning effective interventions in emission mitigation. The integration of technical and political perspectives in this analysis addresses the country's needs comprehensively, aiming to propose realistic and effective mitigation actions in the national context. 

The inputs from this report will be useful for developing a roadmap for short-lived climate pollutants, targeting activities that contribute most to the emission of these pollutants in the country. 

This roadmap includes technical analysis, aiming to achieve sustainability and emission reduction goals. This integrated approach allows addressing SLCP mitigation actions and will serve as a model for future public policy actions in the field of climate change and environmental sustainability in Costa Rica.
