Reports, Case Studies & Assessments Jalisco Mexico Policy Dialogue Report Published 2017 Share SHARE Facebook share Twitter LinkedIn Copy URL Email Breadcrumb Home Resource Library Jalisco Mexico Policy Dialogue Report Within the framework of the Brick Initiative of the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), and the activities of the Public Policy Network of Latin America for the Clean Production of Bricks (PAN LAC), and in collaboration with the organization Swisscontact, with the Institute of Ecology and Climate Change (INECC), and with the organization of the Ministry of Environment and Territorial Development of the Government of Jalisco, Mexico, held a workshop in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico, addressing the design of strategies for transformations of the brick sector. The same workshop is the third regional workshop of PAN LAC and complies with the deliverable of Activity 2, detailed the Action Plan agreed between the CCAC and the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CHRE / CEDHA), reference number DTIEXX-ENXXX of the project funded by the CCAC, by CHRE / CEDHA. To this event was added an initial (previous) day with artisan brick producers, organized and carried out by the Swisscontact organization, coordinator of the EELA project, implementing organization of the CCAC, focused on the technological training for the brick industry. The unification of these events allowed both organizations (CHRE / CEDHA and Swisscontact) and the Mexican government to take advantage of and maximize the available resources and presence of participants in their respective events.
