The Amendment will phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) by cutting their production and consumption. For all countries, this presents many opportunities, but also challenges. UNIDO organized a conference and a series of surveys to identify the main emerging questions, as well as the responsibilities for developing countries regarding the ratification and future implementation of the Kigali Amendment. This report summarises the main results and offers some answers to these urgent questions.
