Navigating This Module

This module is meant to be worked through, not simply read. Bring together the people who will host monitoring sites, manage equipment, interpret data, or use the outputs in training, and work through the sections together. Teams that can answer the questions in this module with confidence will find that later decisions about siting, procurement, data quality, and communication become more straightforward. Teams that cannot will often encounter the same gaps later in the project, where they tend to surface as delays, unclear ownership, or a network that produces data without a clear path toward use.

Project Overview

By the end of this module, you will be able to define the key characteristics of your project:

  • Aim and desired impact
  • Affected population groups
  • Target audience and stakeholders
  • Project duration
  • Category of air pollution
  • Site selection
  • Data accuracy needs
  • Available resources
