Climate and Clean Air Conference 2025

-
Brasilia, Brazil

The Climate and Clean Air Conference 2025 will be held from 17-25 March 2025 in Brasilia, Brazil. This year's theme is ‘Preparing for COP30 - Call to action on Super Pollutants: SLCP mitigation is critical to avoid catastrophic overshoot of 1.5 degrees’. Country representatives, experts, and changemakers will convene to accelerate global action on super pollutants uniting over 180 partners.

This year, we will focus on NDC3.0 commitments as investment plans, hold a Science-Policy Dialogue on Super Pollutants, explore gender equity as a driver of action, and sectoral policies that can drive mitigation. Sharing experiences from action at home and demonstrating leadership – be it as GMP and Clean Air champion countries or driving a sectoral or regional topic or pathway – will help us bring a strong message to COP30.

Participants will engage in high-level dialogues with country representatives, top scientists, and civil society leaders to shape the future of the climate and clean air agenda with an emphasis on a just transition. They will also dive into breakout meetings centered on scientific assessments as well as on practical solutions and best practices in the CCAC’s six sectoral Hubs and connect with peers and partners to drive transformative action and impact.
