The Sustainable Technologies for Air-Conditioning Workshop in Montreal, Canada is part of a series of conferences addressing alternatives to technologies using high-global warming potential hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs). Workshop participants presented climate-friendly and cost-effective technologies that have proven applicability in a range of air-conditioning applications, and addressed issues related to the introduction and use of these technologies in developed and developing country markets.
