Accelerating Clean Air Action: New Tools for 2026 and Beyond

-
(Paris)

Air quality practitioners need practical tools, evidence and guidance to assess air pollution, design policies, make the case for investment and communicate with the public. A range of new resources are being developed by the Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC), UN agencies and the wider clean air community to support this work.

To mark the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies 2026, this webinar will bring together key partners to present new tools and resources, and discuss how they can be used by air quality practitioners working to clean the air at city or country level.

The programme will feature:

  • New Air Quality Management Guidance (Stages 4&5) available on the AQMx platform

  • Updates to the Law and Air Quality Toolkit (UNEP Law Division)

  • Sustainable Development Goals Data and updates to the Air Quality Standards Database (WHO)

  • Air pollution investment case reports and related tool (UNDP)

  • New resources for Africa (Africa Clean Air Network), Asia (Clean Air Asia), and Latin America and the Caribbean (UNEP LAC)
