London Climate Action Week 2026 will bring together nearly 45,000 participants across the city for climate-themed events, discussions, and action. Now in its eighth edition, LCAW has grown from a platform rooted in grassroots and local climate action into a major global convening, leveraging London and the United Kingdom’s leadership to advance ambitious international climate solutions.

The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) will join LCAW 2026 to spotlight the urgent need to reduce super pollutants as a critical pillar of climate action, clean air, public health, and sustainable development.

The CCAC is a partnership of more than 200 governments, intergovernmental organizations, and non-governmental organizations, co-chaired by the governments of the United Kingdom and Brazil. The Coalition works to reduce powerful super pollutants, including methane, black carbon, hydrofluorocarbons, tropospheric ozone, and nitrous oxide, that drive both climate change and air pollution.

LCAW 2026 offers an important opportunity to highlight progress, build momentum, and strengthen collaboration on super pollutant mitigation. CCAC engagement during the week will help advance discussions ahead of the launch of the new UNEP-CCAC Spotlight Report Global Economic Assessment of Climate and Clean Air, a pioneering integrated assessment that considers the economic impacts of air quality and climate change in a consistent way.

The week will also help reinforce growing political momentum for clean air and climate action, including recent international commitments to strengthen cooperation and knowledge-sharing on air pollution and clean air solutions, while encouraging increased ambition on super pollutant mitigation on the road to COP31.

Join the Coalitions' events, dialogues, and partner sessions taking place throughout London Climate Action Week.
