Pakistan has committed to participate in the Coalition's initiatives to reduce short-lived climate pollutant (SLCP) emissions from heavy duty diesel vehicles and engines, municipal solid waste, brick production and household energy. The country will also work with the initiatives aimed at improving urban health and supporting national action planning for SLCPs.
Represented by the Minsitry of Climate Change, Pakistan brings to the Coalition experience in addressing air pollution and near-term climate change, and a commitment to working with Coalition partners to take meaningful action to reduce SLCPs.
